Rappenglitz Exhibition Stand Construction Sets a Milestone for the Future
On January 29, 2020, Michael Lex, Managing Director of the long-established company, signed the contract for the construction of the new company headquarters in Maisach, near Munich. With the building permit granted on May 11, 2020, nothing stood in the way of the cutting-edge new facility.
Rappenglitz Invests in the Future
When planning the new site in the western outskirts of Munich, the Lex family not only focused on creating an attractive and modern workspace for their employees and customers—they also placed great importance on environmental sustainability. As a result, the new building is being constructed to meet the energy-efficient KfW 55 standard.
The new headquarters will include modern office spaces, an in-house carpentry workshop, a massive warehouse with a mobile racking system, a paint shop, and a graphics production department.
This new facility is perfectly tailored to meet the needs of Rappenglitz Exhibition Stand Construction.
Construction Begins in the Maisach Business Park
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the groundbreaking ceremony on the approximately 18,000 m² site in the Maisach Business Park was held on May 27, 2020, in a small gathering. Company owners Barbara Rappenglitz-Lex, Rainer Lex, and Michael Lex were joined by Deputy District Administrator Martina Drechsler, Economic Development Director Barbara Magg, and the Mayor of Maisach to mark the first step toward the new headquarters.
